“March for More”

The march is to call for more state funding for K-12 public education. Leaders from a number of localities have signed on to support this effort, which will include participation by Mayor Levar Stoney as well as James Kamras, RPS Superintendent. The March is also supported by a growing number of organizations committed to increasing state funding for education, including the Virginia Education Association, Virginia Municipal League, Virginia First Cities, and the NAACP, to name a few. Parents, students, teachers, administrators and others in the education field will also be participating.
