The Richmond Ambulance Authority teamed up with the American Heart Association and provided free demonstrations of Hands Only CPR as well as free training kits from Anthem at the Richmond Fire Station 21 Community Day.
It’s critical that as many people as possible learn this lifesaving skill as most cardiac arrests occur outside of a hospital. Performing Hands Only CPR on someone that has collapsed greatly improves their chance for survival.
