On Tuesday we had the pleasure of hosting students from Lucille Brown Middle School.
They got a tour of our headquarters and got a chance to learn more about how we operate. That included stops in our Communication Center, our Logistics Department, and the back of an ambulance.
Before lunch all the students learned hands only CPR. After asking what career they wanted to pursue, we learned we had an aspiring pediatrician, anesthesiologist, attorney, and teacher. We might have even met a few future medics.
Before leaving they all got a chance to hear from one of our EMTs about what a typical day is like for him.
