RAA’s famous world class EMS map of the world received another visitors pin this week. Students from Scotlands University of Glasgow Medical School joined RAA crews for EMS experience as part of their month long elective with Johnston Willis Hospital. Third Year Medical Students Chris Steirs and Rebecca Connor joined Chief Operating Officer Rob Lawrence in planting their pin firmly in Bonnie, Scotland. COO Rob Lawrence said “it is always a pleasure to welcome international visitors to RAA, and to demonstrate the delivery systems, processes and clinical outcomes for which we are globally known for”. The world map has pride of place in RAA’s HQ and shows the home locations of visitors from around the globe, that have come to visit and study the system. “Students from Glasgow have been conducting summer electives at CJW for twenty years, and last year was the first time RAA became part of the program, and we look forward to remaining a regular feature of their visit” Lawrence added.
